Candidate contact/registration information is not viewable anywhere on the site. Recruiter and employer contact information is only displayed in a job posting, but may be edited or deleted to maintain confidentiality.
medreps.com - Membership Terms and Conditions

Before completing your membership to medreps.com, please read the following terms and conditions, and then indicate your acceptance by clicking "I Accept the Terms" at the bottom of the registration page.

General – By submitting advertising or job postings for inclusion on medreps.com you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. This contract supersedes all terms and conditions and any previous agreements between medreps.com and advertiser. All contents of advertisements are subject to medreps.com’s approval. medreps.com reserves the right to reject or cancel any advertisement, job posting or URL link, at any time, for any reason. Each advertiser is defined as one unique user with one unique password. Each password is for the sole use of the registered user of medreps.com and is not transferable.

medreps.com is an Internet job posting service specializing in healthcare sales, sales management and marketing opportunities. Our business focus is to provide a valuable, cost effective service for employers and recruiters looking for qualified healthcare sales professionals and to offer the best resource anywhere for candidates seeking high quality, rewarding medical and pharmaceutical sales careers.

By registering with medreps.com , even if you do not complete the payment process medreps.com requires to establish an active membership, you agree to receive e-mail messages from us directly. medreps.com will enable non-active members the opportunity to opt out of our e-mail lists in one click, with clear directions contained within each message.

medreps.com authorizes you to view and access a single copy of the content available on or from medreps.com solely for your personal use. The contents of medreps.com, and of all other Web sites under medreps.com’s control, whether partial or otherwise (medreps.com and such other Web sites are sometimes collectively referred to as "medreps.com sites") such as text, graphics, images, logos, button icons, software and other medreps.com content (collectively, "medreps.com Content"), are protected under both United States and foreign copyright, trademark and other laws. All medreps.com content is the property of medreps.com or its content suppliers or clients. The compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement and assembly) of all content on the medreps.com sites is the exclusive property of medreps.com and is protected by United States and foreign copyright, trademark, and other laws. Unauthorized use of the medreps.com content may violate these laws, and is strictly prohibited. You must retain all copyright, trademark, service mark and other proprietary notices contained in the original medreps.com content on any authorized copy You make of the medreps.com content.

You agree not to sell or modify the medreps.com content or reproduce, display, publicly perform, distribute, or otherwise use the medreps.com content in any way for any public or commercial purpose, in connection with products or services that are not those of medreps.com, in any other manner that is likely to cause confusion among consumers, that disparages or discredits medreps.com or its licensors, that dilutes the strength of medreps.com’s or its licensor’s property, or that otherwise infringes medreps.com’s or its licensor’s intellectual property rights. You further agree to in no other way misuse medreps.com Content that appears on this Site. The use of the medreps.com content on any other Web site or in a networked computer environment for any purpose is prohibited. Any code that medreps.com creates to generate or display any medreps.com content or the pages making up any medreps.com site is also protected by medreps.com’s copyright and you may not copy or adapt such code.

Pricing:

  • Candidates - $29.95 per year.
  • Recruiters - $399.00 per year (Unlimited Job Postings - Only ten (10) of which may be designated as "Independent Rep" or "Commission Only").
  • Employers - Annual Package: $2,500.00 per year (Unlimited Job Postings) Semi-Annual Package: $1,500.00 per 6 months (Unlimited Job Postings) and Monthly: $329.00 One (single) 30 Day Job Posting.

Term and Termination - Jobs and advertisements will automatically expire at the end of the term and advertisers will be sent notification via email prior to that expiration date. Advertisers and candidates can log into their account and renew their membership or job

These Terms of Use will remain in full force and effect while you are a user on medreps.com at any level. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to pursue all of our legal remedies, including but not limited to deletion of your user content from the site and immediate termination of your registration with or ability to access medreps.com.

Payment – All payments must be received prior to the posting of any jobs or advertisements. Checks, American Express, Visa and Mastercard are accepted for payment. Check payments not honored by financial institutions are voided and a $50.00 fee is added to the amount due for the current billing cycle. All payments more than 30 days past due will bear the interest at the rate of one and one half percent (1½%) per month from the date of invoice or the due date, whichever is later.

Changes and Cancellations – Either medreps.com or Advertiser may cancel this agreement at any time by calling or emailing the medreps.com Customer Support team. If Advertiser cancels any membership within 3 business days from date of purchase, medreps.com will provide a full refund. If however, an Advertiser cancels any membership thereafter, the Advertiser will not be entitled to any refund of fees.

medreps.com may also cancel the agreement if Advertiser has failed to make any payment when due or has become bankrupt or insolvent. These Terms of Use will remain in full force and effect while you are a user on medreps.com at any level. If medreps.com cancels a membership due to breach of terms, or failure to make payments, the Advertiser will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to pursue all of our legal remedies, including but not limited to deletion of your user content from the site and immediate termination of your registration with or ability to access medreps.com.

Limitation of Liability – Any failure, interruption, or delay in service to the site under this agreement, either in whole or in part, resulting from technical difficulties or mechanical failure of computer equipment or internet service, or from strikes, labor disputes, war or national emergencies, governmental restrictions, acts of God, or from any other cause beyond the control of medreps.com, shall not constitute a breach of this agreement. Any damages sustained by advertiser as a result of medreps.com’s breach of this agreement shall be limited to an amount equal to the monies paid by advertiser to medreps.com during the billing period in which the incident occurred.

Miscellaneous – You understand that job seekers make the choice to respond to your advertisement and may, at their sole discretion, provide you with their contact information and resume. While medreps.com endeavors to provide the most accurate, up to date information, the self-reporting job seeker data may contain inaccuracies or errors and may be changed or updated without notice; we do not verify job seeker data and will not be liable for any such inaccuracies, errors or updates. In preparing and submitting advertisements or job postings to medreps.com you will abide by all applicable laws, rules, and regulations regarding truth in advertising and equal opportunity laws. You will not use the service to commit a crime, libel, slander, or infringe upon the rights of any third party.

You understand and agree that medreps.com has not undertaken to act as your agent or representative in dealing with any job seeker and will not be your advocate or agent in any way. You are responsible for negotiating all interviews and financial arrangements directly with the job seeker.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Georgia; both parties expressly agree to be subject to the jurisdiction of Georgia courts. No conditions other than those set forth herein shall be binding on medreps.com unless specifically agreed to in writing by medreps.com.

General Questions
How current are the jobs on medreps.com? Every job on medreps.com expires automatically thirty (30) days from the date it was posted and is then no longer viewable by candidates. The expiration date is displayed for each job on the site. To help insure that all jobs offered on medreps.com represent only current opportunities, we require that recruiters and employers initiate the process to renew a job posting for an additional thirty day period, if needed. Renewed jobs then become viewable to candidates once again.
How do I update my e-mail address or customize my password? After logging in to the site, click the "My Profile" link near the top of each page, make your membership profile changes, then click the "Update My Profile" button at the bottom. Your changes take effect immediately.

What if I forget my password? Click the Log On button, then click the red question mark (?) below the log in form. Enter the e-mail address listed in your membership profile, then click the "Send My Password" button. Your password will be sent via e-mail immediately.

How do I stop receiving the New Jobs e-mail notification? medreps.com sends out a twice weekly New Jobs e-mail notification to our membership every Tuesday and Friday at Midnight eastern time. By default this option is turned on when you become a member. To stop receiving this e-mail message simply log on to medreps.com, click the "My Profile" link near the top of each page, uncheck the two e-mail boxes in your account profile, then click the "Update My Profile" button at the bottom. You will no longer receive the New Jobs e-mail notifications but may change your preference again at any time.

When does my medreps.com membership expire? After logging in, click the "My Profile" link near the top of each page. Your membership expiration date is listed at the top of your account profile.

Does medreps.com automatically renew my membership when it expires? No. medreps.com does not automatically renew memberships. We very much want your repeat business but that decision is yours as to whether or not we have earned your continued patronage.

Does medreps.com have a searchable resume database? We do not offer resume posting or searching.


Job Posting Questions for Recruiters & Employers

Is there a limit to the number of jobs I may post as a recruiter / employer? Employers may post an unlimited number of jobs as long as each position represents a legitimate, current opportunity. Recruiters may post an unlimited number of jobs with the following restriction: a maximum of ten (10) jobs may be designated as either "Independent Rep" or "Commission Only", combined. Posting jobs that do not exist will result in the immediate cancellation of your membership. medreps.com reserves the right to delete any job posting that we determine does not fit the focus of this web site (medical / pharmaceutical sales, sales management, and marketing opportunities) or that does not contain a valid e-mail address or web site link.

How soon is a job visible on the site after I post it? Immediately. medreps.com is a real time database so that when you post or renew a job it is instantly viewable on the site by candidates until it expires. You must complete the job posting form within twenty minutes or you will be timed out of your database connection and have to log in again. When you click the Post New Job button at the bottom, you will immediately see the new job at the top of your Current Jobs list.

How long does a job remain posted? All jobs expire automatically thirty (30) days from the date posted, but you may easily renew a job posting for an additional thirty (30) day period if needed. When a job expires it moves from your Current Jobs List (which is viewable by candidates on the site) into your Archived Jobs Folder (which is NOT viewable by candidates on the site).

How do I renew a job posting after it has expired? You may renew a job posting by clicking on your Archived Jobs Folder and then clicking "Renew for 30 Days" next to the appropriate job. The job will then move to your Current Jobs List and be viewable by candidates once again in the medreps.com job database. You may renew a job posting as often as needed. This expiration / renewal process insures that the thousands of qualified candidates who rely on medreps.com will view only current employment opportunities..

How do I edit a job I have already posted? Click the "Post Job" menu button to view your Current Jobs List and then select "Edit" next to the specific job you want to update. Make your changes and click the "Update Job" button to save your changes, which take effect immediately.

How do I duplicate a job I have already posted? Many times a recruiter or employer will have the same position available in different locations around the country (ten new pharmaceutical sales jobs in ten different cities for example). With the duplication feature, you can post all of your identical positions in just minutes and they will each show up in the appropriate geographic locations when candidates search the medreps.com job database. Click the "Post Job" menu button to view your Current Jobs List and then select the "Duplicate" link next to the specific job you want to recreate. A duplicate job form will be displayed with the City, State and Territory information blank and all other information identical. Just enter the new City, State and Territory, then click the "Post Duplicate Job" button to save your new posting. Repeat as many times as needed for each location.

How do I archive a job I have already posted? You should use the Archive feature when you want to remove a job from candidates view before the job automatically expires in 30 days, but you want to retain the posting for possible future use. Just click the "Archive" link next to the job and it will instantly move from your Current Jobs List into your Archived Jobs Folder. Remember that all jobs posted on medreps.com move into the Archived Jobs Folder automatically after 30 days and may be renewed again if needed.

How do I delete a job I have already posted? Click the "Post Job" menu button to view your Current Jobs List and then select "Delete" next to the specific job you want to remove. You will then be prompted to confirm your choice before permanently deleting the job from the medreps.com database. The same process applies to deleting jobs from your Archived Jobs Folder. As a precaution against errors, you may only delete one job at a time.

Can I remain confidential when posting a job on medreps.com? Yes. When a recruiter / employer posts a job on medreps.com, certain information in the "Contact" section is automatically filled in based on your account profile (to save you time). If you want to remain confidential, you can edit or delete your contact information for each specific job posting as needed. Every job posted on medreps.com at a minimum must display either a valid e-mail address or web site for candidates to contact.
